VIRTUAL Adult Body Positive Stretch & Strengthen-Session 1 (6 classes)

Our favorite work out and self care class is now adding a Virtual option! This class will meet via Zoom, so that each student can practice this at their own level in the comfort of their own home! This class will follow a similar format to our in-person Stretch & Strengthen class, but will also allow for more accessibility, including use of props like chairs, bolsters, etc. Students can take just this class singularly, or add this on to Wednesday's in person class for a twice a week dose of Pilates, yoga, and dance conditioning!

This fun and upbeat class is a gentle introduction to the classroom for your little ones! Children ages 18 months to 2 years old will begin learning about movement, rhythm, balance, and listening to a teacher. Through musical games, stretches, and beginning ballet, your child will experience a safe and loving environment to begin their dance education!

*One caretaker is required to stay with the child in class. It can be a parent, grandparent, aunt/uncle, etc.*

Don't ever let cost keep you away. MHT offers financial aid including partial scholarships for qualifying families. Call the Box Office for more information at 270-444-6828 and please complete this Financial Aid Form. Once completed, the form can be emailed to info@mhtplay.org or brought to the Box Office at 132 Market House Square. Applications must be received at least two (2) weeks prior to the start of the class. Please do not register for the class if you are applying for a scholarship.

This mat-based movement class is perfect for anyone who needs a safe and gentle space to move their bodies! Using a combination of yoga, Pilates, dance stretch and conditioning, this class is a positive environment for each student to move their bodies at whatever level works for them! Created as a way to make fitness accessible to everyone, not just those who are physically fit, this is a great class for anyone plus-sizes, postpartum, recovering from an injury, etc. Our goal as a class is to feel safe and comfortable as we care for our bodies!

Adult Dance: Tech & Choreography-Session 2 (6 classes)

Dancing isn't just for the kids! This fun and invigorating class is for any adult (age 18+) who has a love of dance! This hour long class will start with a warm-up, and develop technique through across the floor progressions before working on choreography combinations. We will explore a variety of styles, drawing on jazz, ballet, lyrical, and hip-hop. This class is open to any level, no experience required! 

Attire: Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Specialized dance shoes are not required.
