Market House Theatre

Here is a highly theatrical adaptation of the classic legend of Sleepy Hollow. All the eerie spookiness remains in Washington Irving’s famous story of the haunted town in upstate New York. Trimmed of much of the chattiness of longer adaptations, this one-act version still retains all the essential story elements and characters, including Katrina, Brom Bones, and several school children and townspeople.

Performances will take place March 25 & 26 at 3:00 pm  

Additional Rehearsals will take place the week before the show:

Monday, March 20 from 6-7pm

Wednesday, March 22 from 6-7pm

Friday, March 24 from 6-7:30pm

Don't ever let cost keep you away. MHT offers financial aid, including partial scholarships, for qualifying families. Call the Box Office for more information at 270-444-6828, ext. 1, and please complete this Financial Aid Form. Once completed, the form can be emailed to info@mhtplay.org or brought to the Box Office at 132 Market House Square. Applications must be received at least two (2) weeks prior to the start of the class. Please do not register for the class until you are notified of our decision.
